Here's to another healthful year. I stopped using mass-produced liquid body wash years ago (it’s full of toxic ingredients ☠️ that are scientifically linked to immunotoxicity, allergies, cancer, and more). I stopped using commercial soaps a little over 2 years ago when I started making my own. It’s been (and still is) quite a learning curve, but I enjoy the process, the learning and most importantly, the PRODUCTS. I cannot stress enough the difference that a true, organic soap 🧼 makes on your skin. This translates to better health in that you are introducing far less harmful chemicals ☠️ into your system and over time, IT ALL ADDS UP. It also doesn't strip your skin of the essential natural oils that you need to protect your body. I have been experimenting with different oils, 🥣 butters, scents 👃🏻(organic essential oils only) and some “colorants” 🖍️ (organic spices and clays only) and am hard pressed to name a favorite. Different soaps have different characteristics and I truly love them all. 🥰 I also discovered the wonder of shampoo bars 🚿 with the benefit of NO WASTE, either in packaging OR the (mostly) water (and chemicals) they contain. #WINNING Why are these not a thing everywhere? WHY are we still buying products that:
