Soaping and cream making were on hold of late. A VIB (very important baby) came into our life recently and our attention was warranted elsewhere. Welcome to our beautiful granddaughter, Gabrielle Anne. Perfect in every way and adored by all. <3 Nan has been working on vinyl for her walls and having a bear of a time finding the ICC profile to print and cut it. Frustration abounds, but I WILL get this done. (pictures will be provided, of course – at some point). On a different note, I have discovered a few things to share. I am unable to choose a favorite soap, for real. The absolute shocking difference in what I am using now vs what I had been using for YEARS is astounding to me. I KNOW organic is the way to go. We’ve been on that road now since 7/2013, but I am still surprised when something smacks me upside the head like this. I LOVE pumpkin. AMAZING, trust me – you need to try it. Of course, oatmeal honey is every bit as great as you would think. The activated charcoal is wonderous on my skin as well. Vanilla cinnamon feels great – and smells amazing! The avocado and aloe soaps are also silky smooth on the skin (no fragrance on these). I’m pretty sure I’ll just continue to rotate my personal stock and take full advantage of it all. FYI – BUY.THE.SOAP. Finally, the magnesium body butter. Feedback thus far has been: Would like it to spread easier (like the lotion the person was used to). What I make is not lotion – not diluted with water or anything else and no preservatives are added (which MANY “natural products” contain in order to MAKE things more spreadable). I make a cream and once it’s on the skin, it does spread easily. I’ll continue to refine what I make, but it will never be like many of the other lotions that are out there and I’m good with that. Other feedback was no difference noticed yet (after a few applications). I only know that for ME – I DID notice a difference – immediately. First, it tingled when I applied it (I put it on my feet at night). From what I have gleaned, this indicates an actual magnesium deficiency – in spite of my taking an oral magnesium supplement for some time now (will be looking into the brand I've been using for sure). No pain, no worry – just a tingling sensation. I continue to use it nightly (the tingling has stopped), but I now hold off until 1 hour before I want to be drowsy, as FOR ME, it seems to definitely aid in that area. I also found that it seems to have helped me stay asleep and with better quality over all (when Ziggy isn’t being a PITA and waking me 8 times a night). In my personal sampler, I DID use EO’s (frank, lavender, cedarwood and sandalwood, the last 2 I have been using for years now as a natural sleep aid – check out the occipital triangle for applying oils). It definitely seems to have been the answer to stopping my feet/leg cramping when I lie down. AMEN. Magnesium Body Butter IS available now. I’ll be making it in small batches as there will be no preservatives. Email or contact via the form if you have questions or suggestions. In the meantime, be well and live your best life. You’re worth it.
