How long do products last? Is there an expiration date?
The products I offer will generally have a shelf life of 1-2 years (the length of time my oils/butters are good for). You should only buy what you intend to use in the next 6 months. It’s why everything is made in small batches. Heat may shorten shelf life, or at least, the quality of the product (intense heat, as in, don’t leave lotion bars/sunscreen, EO’s, etc, in your car or direct sunlight, especially in the summer).

I’m a guy and not into “skin care”. Why should I buy your products?
You shouldn’t.🤷🏻‍♀️If you’re “not into” caring for your health and doling out the necessary $ to ensure that the ingredients you’re using aren’t toxic ☠️, by all means, use what you’ve always used from the drugstore or grocery store. I’d prefer to help educate people on the absolute importance of being self-aware and knowing about ingredients and how they affect your health in advance of paying for the “cures’ down the road. #italladdsup

Are shampoo bars really as effective as “regular” salon shampoos?
In summary, they are MORE effective and healthier than most any commercially prepared products on the market today. (depending on your source, once again). Also, they are great for travel as you aren’t limited by those pesky tiny bottles and TSA requirements. 🤔
Finally, they are probably more cost effective in the long term since the commercial products are MOSTLY WATER. (check those ingredient labels, y’all).

How do I use a shampoo bar and do I need a rinse or conditioner?
This definitely depends on hair type, geographical location (humidity/dryness) and personal preference, obviously. Also, I recommend a “detox” period in getting used to the new type of product while your hair and scalp adjust. Here is a great explanation. 
Shampoos bars 🧼 are used the same as any soap bar. Just wet it, rub it between your hands if you have short hair or directly on your scalp if you have greater volume, and then massage it in well. My bars lather great 🫧 and smell amazing! Then just rinse well (cooler water is best). I use ACV/water in equal amounts from a basic spray bottle and leave on while I soap up, rinsing down head to toe before stepping out of my shower. The scent dissipates very quickly in case that worries you, and my scalp/hair have never felt better or healthier. (I have non-chemically treated hair).

How should I store my soaps?
All natural soaps are best stored in a cool, dry environment, so don’t wrap them in plastic or keep them in a humid environment. For your current bars, be sure they are NOT kept in a puddle of water, or you’ll be wasting your well-spent $ as the bar will melt down quickly. Invest in a basic soap dish that drains, or at the very least, lay it on a dry face cloth/towel away from water so you’ll have it longer.
